The 10-year challenge -- in which people post on social media side-by-side comparisons of how they've changed since 2009 -- is taking the internet by storm. Now, Deadpool is getting in on the action with two devastating burns on Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Stefan Kapičić's Colossus.
The two images, which were posted on the official Deadpool movie Twitter, show a before and after of Wolverine and Colossus. In the first image, a still of Wolverine from 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine is contrasted with a picture of the character's grave from 2017's Logan. The second image shows Colossus on the left and a garbage can filled with holes on the right. Both actors were tagged in their respective photos.
Disney's impending acquisition of key assets from 21st Century Fox, which include Deadpool and various X-Men characters, have rendered the future of Fox's mutant movies uncertain. Although there are currently rumors that the X-Force team-up film is dead, Deadpool 2 screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick recently confirmed Drew Goddard's X-Force is supposed to get released Deadpool 3.
Despite releasing in early 2018, Deadpool 2 was recut and rereleased as the PG-13 Once Upon a Deadpool for the holiday season. The movie is also slated to finally get a release in China later this month.
David Leitch’s Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds as the titular Deadpool, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, T.J.
