This is one way to keep a film under budget.

As YouTuber Erik Germ noticed, "Deadpool" repurposed one specific shot previously used in 2006's "X-Men: The Last Stand," depicting the X-Men's jet taking off from the X-Mansion. While the jets are two different designs, the shot of the mansion and motion of the camera are identical. See for yourself!

While this was most likely done to cut corners (why do a location shoot for one brief sequence or create it from scratch digitally when a perfectly good shot already exists?), it's also another fun way that "Deadpool" -- which constantly broke the fourth wall -- plays with and incorporates previous "X-Men" film canon. Yep, there's a little bit of "Last Stand" in "Deadpool."

"Deadpool" is now available for purchase on Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD.
