The Merc with a Mouth is coming to Marvel Strike Force for a limited time.

Deadpool will appear in the mobile game through June 10 as an unlockable character and antagonist. The wisecracking antihero's arrival was announced in a trailer as the S.H.I.E.L.D. medic from the game's TV spot recounts his latest romantic woes and run-ins with Deadpool. In short, he was catfished by "Dee Dee," aka Wade Wilson.

During this in-game event period tying into the release of Deadpool 2, players can participate in new Deadpool-themed Raids and Blitzes as they take on enemies of SHIELD and, occasionally, Deadpool himself.

Through these in-game events, Deadpool-themed gear can be earned through chimichanga premium mOrbs. Deadpool Orb Fragments earned through Deadpool Raids and Blitzes can be used to unlock the Merc with a Mouth himself for gameplay.

To continue to promote Deadpool 2 and expand on the events marking the titular mercenary's inclusion in the game, Marvel teases the arrival of Deadpool's greatest frenemy, Cable, in Marvel Strike Force next week.
