WARNING: The following contains spoilers for "Deadpool Party" from Deadpool: Black, White & Red #2, on sale now from Marvel Comics.

Deadpool is already on speaking terms with most of the scariest creatures on the Marvel Universe. Whether he is operating as a mercenary for hire or marrying demon queens, Deadpool's repeatedly made unexpected in-roads within Marvel's community of monsters, and he's even been crowned the king of a monster-infested Staten Island, appropriately renamed Monster Island.

However, not every monster in the Marvel universe sees Deadpool as a friend. In fact, Deadpool's latest outing has just made him an enemy of Dracula, the King of Vampires, and his Vampire Nation, who have slowly but surely been setting themselves up as the masterminds of Marvel's next world-threatening event.

The story "Deadpool Party" from Deadpool: Black, White & Red #2 (by Karla Pacheco, Leonard Kirk, Rachelle Rosenberg, & VC's Joe Sabino) opens with Deadpool manning the bar at a fancy party where he encounters the veteran X-Man Gambit. When Deadpool asks Gambit why he appears to be flirting with the party's hostess, an influential tech mogul named Benjamina "Benji" Fredrick, Gambit reveals that she's a mutant who's been using her technopathic abilities to rig the stock market and that Professor X has asked him to convince her to join the mutant nation of Krakoa and dedicate her talents to a more ethical cause. As soon as Gambit finishes explaining this, Deadpool casually guns Benji down.

Before Gambit can confront Deadpool, the party's other guests turn into vampires and begin attacking both of them. While they're fighting their way towards a nearby helicopter, Deadpool explains that Benji, who was also a vampire, and the other guests are members of a vampire clan who have recently begun drinking the blood of baby mutants. Once the two are safely in the air and Deadpool confirms that everyone at the party is both a vampire and criminal scum, Gambit uses his powers of energy conversion to supercharge Deadpool before kicking him out of the helicopter, turning him into a makeshift nuke that wipes out the remaining vampires before they can escape. Deadpool survives thanks to his impressive healing ability and rides off into the sunset with Gambit on a pair of jet skis.

Benji and her clan aren't the only vampires who're targeting mutants for their unique blood. After being granted an internationally recognized sovereign state within the ruins of Chernobyl by the United Nations, Dracula has been slowly strengthening his influence from the safety of his new nation. Dracula's main priority at the moment appears to be finding a way to overcome his kind's natural weakness to sunlight. To achieve this, Dracula has turned his gaze towards one of his people's oldest and deadliest enemies: Wolverine.

Wolverine has had many ugly encounters with vampires over the course of his unnaturally long life, and their mutual hatred only worsened after Dracula had him captured and used his regenerative blood to grant his vampire legions immunity to sunlight. Upon escaping from captivity, Wolverine embarked on a one-man war against the Vampire Nation, one that became even more personal after his new friend Louise, a professional vampire hunter from France, was bitten.

After Wolverine began tainting his blood, Dracula proved that he is willing to wage war with the superhero community many times before, and now that he has the resources of an entire nation at his disposal, he is in a position to take whatever he wants by force. Many of Krakoa's citizens have regenerative abilities of some sort, so Dracula's campaign against the mutant nation may soon take center stage.

Through his massacre of Benji's clan, Deadpool has officially joined the battle against the Vampire Nation. There is little chance that Dracula will take this offense lying down, and it is very possible that the Merc With a Mouth will soon be entangled in one of Marvel's greatest conspiracies.
