Marvel Legends have produced so many different figures over the years that collectors end up seeing a few variations of the same character, especially the popular ones like Wolverine and Spider-Man. And when we're speaking about popular Marvel characters, they don't come more popular than the Merc-With-A-Mouth himself, Deadpool.
Popularity on that level tends to happen when you star in comic books, video games, and record-breaking blockbuster films, and as fans of Deadpool we are thankful that his swell of popularity has provided fans with so many different Deadpool figures. So today we are going to take a look at a few of the best Deadpool figures from Marvel Legends.
10 DEADPOOL CORPS W/ SCOOTER
Yes, that is a dog and a squirrel in Deadpool costumes riding a Deadpool-themed scooter with none other than Deadpool. This is a fairly good representation of the kind of zany figures that can be found from Marvel Legends Deadpool collection.
The Deadpool Corps uniform is a little different than most costumes in that it has the metallic chest piece that first started appearing when he was running around with his BFF in Cable and Deadpool. The unique costume coupled with the scooter and his little buddies makes this a must-have for Deadpool fans.
9 DEADPOOL BAF
While we might usually rip on a character for having way too many unnecessary straps and pouches, with Deadpool it usually all makes perfect sense. He's constantly packed to the brim with weapons and anything either his mercenary or superhero work calls for at any given time.
That's part of what makes this Deadpool figure from the Juggernaut BAF wave so great. he comes loaded down with pouches and holsters and straps to carry the insane number of accessories included with this figure, from grenades and guns to his dual swords for ultimate customization.
8 AGENT OF WEAPON X
Deadpool has worn a few different variations of his costume over the years, though they almost always retain the same design style and colorations. When Wade was forced to work alongside the new Weapon X program as one of their covert mutant operatives, he wore a unique costume as the Agent of Weapon X.
This 12" Marvel Legends figure showcases his Weapon X costume and it's slightly altered colorings with amazing detail, and the figure comes with a number of weapon attachments, as well as an interchangeable battle damaged head and DP's snack of choice.
7 PROBATIONARY X-MEMBER
For a very brief moment in the comics, Wade was made a probationary member of the X-Men. So, of course, he made his own version of the classic X-Men costume, which had "X-Men" written on the chest just in case it wasn't obvious enough yet.
This costume alone is enough of a selling point, but the figure even comes with an interchangeable Madcap head, which references the storyline when the two unkillable heroes switched heads and... well... the rest is kind of gross. Regardless, the addition of the Madcap head puts this figure's value over the top for the right comic fan.
6 90'S DEADPOOL
One of Marvel Legends best looking Deadpool figures is actually based on some of his earliest appearances. Deadpool was created in the 90s by Rob Liefeld and Fabien Nicieza, and initially, he was a pretty brutal assassin with a dark sense of humor.
While the sense of humor has stayed the same, it has affected his overall look. This figure harshens some of his mask features and captures the little details that made the character such a hit when he first debuted in the pages of New Mutants. This celebration of Deadpool's origins is the perfect addition to any fan's collection.
5 LADY DEADPOOL
Wade Wilson and his furry friends on the scooter aren't the only Deadpools who have appeared in the comics. There is actually a whole multiverse of Deadpools, who have occasionally banded together as the Deadpool Corps. Wanda Wilson is a female counterpart of Wade's who calls herself Lady Deadpool.
While we always hope to see an interchangeable battle-damaged head included, what makes this figure even more unique is that Lady Deadpool also features Headpool, another alternate reality Deadpool. Well, part of one. Get closer to completing your own Deadpool Corps collection with two members for the price of one!
4 12" DEADPOOL
This 12" fully articulated fully detailed action figure from Marvel Legends just may be the best Deadpool figure on the market, if it weren't for the last couple of options on our list of course. Still, this deluxe sized figure stands tall among the other figures we've collected.
Not only does it feature an amazing representation of his classic costume with some really great attention to detail on the pouches and straps, but the poseability options that are available due to the aforementioned points of articulation and the various hand and head options are truly endless.
3 BACK IN BLACK
It seems like everybody gets to try on a symbiote these days, but as it was revealed in Deadpool's Secret Wars, Wade Wilson was doing it before it was cool. That's right, Wade Wilson put the symbiote on before Peter Parker, and again after when Deadpool went Back in Black and may have left a little of his crazy behind
This figure represents the unique Black Suit Deadpool look fans demanded to see more of in the comics. Symbiote Deadpool even features symbiotic tendrils to wield his swords so his hands are always ready for chimichangas and rock, paper, scissors tournaments.
2 HEARTPOOL BOXERS
It's quite possible that no other figure from Marvel Legends entire collection manages to capture the heart and soul of the character quite like this version of Deadpool, who wears his heart on his sleeve, and on his underwear.
Heartpool Boxer Deadpool shows us the best and worst sides of Wade Wilson with this partially clothed figure. And while Deadpool's accessories don't actually come with pants, his grinning half-masked face more than makes up for it.
1 X-FORCE
One of Deadpool's most famous costumes is actually his most drab. The grey and black color scheme of Deadpool's Uncanny X-Force uniform may not be as flashy as his normal red-and-black, but that was kind of the idea behind the covert squad's matching uniforms.
And sure enough, while Wade spent years joking about never being an X-Man, he finally got to officially add the X-insignia on to his costume before he helped Wolverine and the X-Men kill a bunch of bad guys. No Deadpool collection would be complete without the addition of his first legitimate X-costume.
