“Deadpool” is coming home early.
Ryan Reynolds announced that the film will be available to own digitally on Tuesday, April 26 on his official Twitter account; this will put the digital release two weeks ahead of the physical Blu-Ray/DVD release. “This doesn’t usually happen to me,” he wrote, adding “#yesitdoes” in the hashtags. He also included a new graphic from the “Deadpool” team for the announcement.
The official “Deadpool” Twitter account also announced some of the home release’s special features, revealing that deleted scenes, a gag reel, a commentary with comic book co-creator Rob Liefeld and much more will be included on the home video release.
“Deadpool” will release on DVD and Blu-ray May 10. Slated to drop next Tuesday, the digital release is also available for pre-order on Amazon.
