In 2013’s Deadpool run by Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan, and Tony Moore, Deadpool’s family was expanded to include a ghost version of Ben Franklin; a misfit magician named Michael; two S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in Scott Adsit & Emily Preston; and a surprise daughter named Eleanor. Introduced midway through the 2013 run, her story continued into later runs as well.

Since Deadpool’s life is already confusing enough, his daughter’s conception, birth, and life can be hard to follow, even spanning into the 2099 universe. Eleanor and her later introduced half-sister Warda Wilson changed what it meant to be Deadpool to Wade, for better or worse.

Carmelita and Deadpool Interupped by Luke Cage

Deadpool Issue 13 saw the titular Merc With The Mouth fitting himself in alongside the Heroes For Hire— Luke Cage and Iron Fist— against the villain The White Man, who was terrorizing shopkeepers. The White Man was boosted by a power cane he purchased from the Mandarin.

After being kidnapped by The White Man, Deadpool meets Carmelita, the daughter of one of the shopkeepers, and the two make love before being rescued by Luke Cage. Carmelita, after seeing Deadpool’s real face, promptly throws up

In a storyline filled with plenty of mind-bending for Deadpool, “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” arc was where Deadpool officially confirmed his child’s existence. After being captured by the villain known as Butler, he was taken into a new Weapon Plus facility in North Korea. This facility was using Deadpool’s DNA mixed with X-Men DNA to create power copies.

The families of these copies and Carmelita were held to force cooperation between the test subjects. Unfortunately, while Deadpool, Captain America, and Wolverine were freeing the base, several hostages were killed including Carmelita.

8 Eleanor Was Raised By Butler’s Brother

After Agent Preston receives a vision of Deadpool’s former lover and his child, she sets out to find the missing daughter. She discovers that Eleanor had been taken by Butler and given to his brother for safekeeping. Agent Preston eventually tracks him and Eleanor down to a small town in Illinois.

Unfortunately, after Agent Preston visits Eleanor, grabbing a DNA sample to test, she ends up leading U.L.T.I.M.A.T.U.M. to the girl. With her identity exposed, the beret-wearing villains take Eleanor as a ploy against Deadpool. She then watched her adoptive father die of a heart attack.

7 She Was A Deadpool Fan Before Meeting Him

The first time Eleanor is seen on panel in her home, she is watching news coverage of Deadpool and Dazzler slaughtering vampire nests on behalf of Shiklah. She laments to Agent Preston about how cool he is just before all of the drama happened.

Later, when it was just Eleanor and Deadpool, she noted that he was famous for killing all of the undead presidents, even dropping the line “You’re the best.” This hits Deadpool in his feelings, and he stutters before responding to her.

6 She Is A Mutant With Resurrection Powers

Elanor of 2099

In another throwback-style comic, Agent Adsit tells Agent Preston about Deadpool killing his own parents. At the end of the issue, readers get to see the confrontation of Carmelita asking Deadpool to take responsibility for Eleanor, during the height of his memory wiped days. This was also when Butler first met Eleanor, testing her for the X-Gene.

It is noted that she is, in fact, a mutant, though it isn’t shown until much later what her powers are. In a 2099 story, her powers are said to be rebirth to the age her powers manifested, though she keeps all memories.

5 She Was Adopted Into The Preston Family

Elanor Adopted By Agent Preston and Family

After the death of her adoptive father, Eleanor was at the whims of fate until Deadpool stepped in and demanded Agent Preston took Eleanor into her family. While Agent Preston was reluctant at first, she owed Deadpool a life debt since she had been living in his brain for a time. She eventually took custody of Eleanor and treated her like family.

Deadpool watched over the family for a time, but since he was having memory problems and the AXIS event messed up the world, he had to leave Eleanor behind with the family. She stayed with them until she was forgotten by writers.

4 There Is A Second Daughter In 2099

Warda Wilson aka Deadpool 2099

In Issue 6 of Gerry Dugan and Mike Hawthorne’s run of Deadpool, readers are introduced to a second daughter of Deadpool named Warda. She is Deadpool’s daughter with Shiklah, the Monster Queen, and the active Deadpool of 2099.

After a showdown between Deadpool and Shiklah, Warda was abandoned. She would kidnap Deadpool and keep him locked up in a tower, forcing him to watch C-SPAN. Ironically, she leads a group called the BOB  styled after Hydra Agent Bob, making her resemble her father in more ways than blood.

After the introduction of Warda, it was revealed that Shiklah led to the death of Eleanor. As Deadpool 2099 went about her life as a criminal akin to her father, her BOB squad was targeted by another Deadpool wearing a 2099 version of the Deadpool AXIS suit. During a spar, Warda removes the other Deadpool’s mask, revealing Eleanor

Their battle travels through the city of Nueva York after Eleanor frees Deadpool from Warda’s shackles. Their fight ends briefly when Warda enacts a plan to release The Elder Demon on the crowds of a concert, knowing Eleanor wouldn’t allow her to kill them all.

2 The Future Looks Bright For The Family

After everything Deadpool, Warda, and Eleanor went through apart and together, they eventually came to an amicable conclusion with the help of an AI Agent Preston. Warda was left with her mind cleared up thanks to Agent Preston entering her mind as she had with Deadpool decades earlier.

Deadpool and Eleanor made up over a dinner where Deadpool finally revealed the location of Shiklah, literally lodged in his chest thanks to Pym Particles. While the 2099 story ends with this scene, it opens the doors for a future tale of Eleanor, Warda, and Deadpool and their adventures.

1 He Has A Third Daughter "With" Spider-Man

Itsy Bitsy Deadpool and Spider-Mans Daughter

During the Spider-Man/Deadpool run by Joe Kelly, readers are introduced to Deadpool's third daughter, Itsy Bitsy. She was originally a regular human that was spliced with DNA from both Spider-Man and Deadpool, effectively making her their daughter.

Her split lineage gave her spider powers and physiology, plus an extremely powerful regeneration ability on par with Deadpool's. When she took vigilantism too far, her fathers decided it was time to take her out, with Spider-Man failing to kill her several times before Deadpool stepped in and atomized her, suffering emotional damage from the action.
