Although the role of Cable has yet to be cast in the "Deadpool" sequel, the writers know exactly what they're looking for in terms of the actor's chemistry with star Ryan Reynolds.

Speaking with SuperHeroHype, co-writer Rhett Reese was asked how the ultra-masculinity of Marvel's mutant soldier from the future could serve as a comedic contrast to the Merc with the Mouth.

"Ryan plays Deadpool with a hint of femininity, and I think that can be funny opposite a Cable who’s über-masculine." Reese said. "That’ll come into casting and performance and the character design and his wardrobe and things like that too. I think we’ll definitely play into that."

While the identity of the actor who will play Cable remains a mystery, fans already know who has been cast as the character's longtime confidant Domino: "Atlanta" co-star Zadie Beetz.
