There are all different types of Marvel superheroes, but no one is as unique as Deadpool, who has the biggest superpower of them all: Breaking the fourth wall. While Wade Wilson is the perfect type of anti-hero, in stark contrast, Luke Cage is the kind of character who is born to lead.

Both of these men have been through adversities and they have very different ways of dealing with it. They have completely different skill-sets as well and they would certainly like to have a chance to borrow each other's superpowers, at least once.

10 Deadpool: Takes Full Advantage Of Technology/Gadgets

Marvel Comics

Deadpool might love the feel of a fight, but he never backs down from using suitable technology for certain situations. He uses hologram devices to blend in with the public due to his not-so-good-looking face. Moreover, he uses personal teleportation devices to go to any place without any fuss. Luke Cage, on the other hand, doesn't make use of any technology, not even weapons. Technological devices aren't the Powerman's forte.

9 Luke Cage: Has A Much More Stable Mind

Marvel Comics

One of the reasons why Luke Cage was able to become the leader of the Avengers was him being calm and collected in any situation. He has a very calm head on his heavy shoulders. He can come up with certain game plans that other people cannot even think of.

Wade Wilson, though, is as unstable as anyone. His cancer hasn't helped matters, either. His character might be very funny to follow but if he developed a calm personality, he would use his superpowers in a much better way.

8 Deadpool: Expert Marksmanship

Deadpool is not just an incredible hand-to-hand combatant but he is very good with weapons. He is an elite marksman capable of hitting anyone with anything over long distances. He is so good that he has once been compared to the master marksman himself, Bullseye.

It isn't a fluke that Wade has developed such skill because he has trained day in, day out, to become this good. Knowing how hard Luke Cage works, he would become a decent marksman if he had someone to train him.

7 Luke Cage: Withstanding Extreme Temperatures

Luke Cage Hero for Hire

Due to Luke Cage's dense skin, he can withstand any kind of temperature, be it very hot or very cold. His body is immune to extreme temperatures and it has helped him go to places others wouldn't like to go to. Not only that, but Marvel's Powerman doesn't flinch even if his body is on fire.

Deadpool may have a brilliant healing factor but that doesn't make him immune to the horrors of dealing with extreme hot or cold. He would genuinely like to have this superpower.

6 Deadpool: Highly Skilled Swordsman

Deadpool loves his swords. They are his trademark weapons and he is quite good at using them, to say the least. His swords give him a massive advantage against superheroes of his size. Swordsmanship is an incredible skill to have, considering the fact that Deadpool has other great abilities as well.

Again, it isn't like Luke Cage cannot learn how to use a sword but for some reason, Marvel's Powerman is okay with punching people into oblivion.

5 Luke Cage: Superhuman Speed

Don't go by his size— Luke Cage is as fast as they come. He is an elite athlete, capable of things a normal human cannot do, even without his superpowers. Obviously, he is a superhuman but so is Wade Wilson and yet, there is a sizable difference between their respective speeds.

It's due to the peak human condition of Luke Cage and the laziness of Deadpool. If only Deadpool took himself seriously, he would be as fast as Marvel's Powerman.

4 Deadpool: Unapparelled Agility

Marvel Comics

The Regenerating Degenerate has acquired a number of meaningful skills over the years. To be an assassin of the highest caliber means learning every kind of fighting technique there is and due to that, Deadpool has become incredibly agile.

Obviously, his regenerative abilities help, but in general, Deadpool can bend his body in many compromising positions. Luke Cage simply cannot do that, simply due to his size and metal-like skin.

3 Luke Cage: Unthinkable Strength

Luke Cage from Marvel Comics

Luke Cage's right hook has a lot of power. He can manhandle many superheroes in the Marvel Universe, including Deadpool, if the Regenerating Degenerate agrees to fight without any technological improvements. It's not only his skin but the fact that he learned some fighting moves from his good friend, Iron Fist.

Luke Cage knows the weak points to target in a human body and that means he is pretty difficult to beat in hand-to-hand combat.

2 Deadpool: Complete And Total Regeneration

Marvel Comics

It's time to mention Deadpool's greatest strength. Wade Wilson can cut off every single part of his body and it would grow back in no time. Not only that, but he was cursed by Thanos to be immortal. So even if someone finds a way to kill him, he'll simply wake up again.

While the Powerman himself has cellular regeneration, it cannot be compared to the healing abilities of the Regenerating Degenerate. It's as if he is almost impossible to get rid of and it is very frustrating for his enemies.

1 Luke Cage: Invulnerability

Marvel Comics

Deadpool has regenerative abilities but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be hurt if someone snaps him into two. This is where Luke Cage has an advantage. Due to his unbreakable skin, even rockets landing right at him don't seem to push him back. He is very difficult to hurt, unlike Deadpool.

If someday, these two go up against each other, it would be very difficult to predict the winner due to the fact that both of them have some advantages and weaknesses to exploit. It would be a fun fight, nevertheless.
