Deadpool fans might be getting a third Deadpool movie after all, now that Ryan Reynolds has changed his tune.Previously it was stated that there would be no Deadpool 3 because the Deadpool franchise would be blossoming into an X-Force film after Deadpool 2. Now Reynolds is giving at least a little hint that no decision has been made yet, and a third film could still be made at a later date.

At the opening of Deadpool 2, Reynolds told Variety that right now Fox is focusing on making an X-Force film, and while no official plans have been made, Deadpool 3 is "down the road." The actor stated that "I'm sure we'll figure it out," indicating that the coming team-up film will not necessary replace a third helping of Deadpool solo action.

Directed by David Leitch, Deadpool 2 features Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, and Karan Soni as Dopinder, with newcomers Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable, Julian Dennison in an unknown role, and Jack Kesy as a villain widely thought to be Black Tom Cassidy. The film hits theaters on May 18.
