Deadpool 3 will reportedly see the Merc with the Mouth visiting some of Fox's superhero franchises.

As per a rumor by scooper DanielRPK, Wade Wilson will be taking a trip to various other superhero films to achieve an as-yet-unknown goal. While it's currently unknown how Deadpool 3 will integrate these franchises into its plot, the report specifies that he'll arrive in the X-Men movies as well as the 2005 Fantastic Four film. It's worth noting that neither Marvel Studios nor Disney have made any kind of mention of this particular rumor which has yet to be officially verified.

This isn't the first time Deadpool 3 has been rumored to incorporate some element of multiversal shenanigans. An earlier report alleged Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson) of the Time Variance Authority, who debuted in the 2021 Disney+ series Loki, will play a significant part in the threequel. Similar to the aforementioned report, this has yet to be addressed by Marvel Studios.

While it's currently unknown whether Deadpool 3 will actually incorporate Fox's X-Men movies into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one component is confirmed to be making the multiversal jump. Hugh Jackman's Wolverine is slated to star in Wade Wilson's next blockbuster, as announced by the actor during a cheeky reveal video posted by the franchise's star Ryan Reynolds. Fans are still speculating how the pair will be united given Wolverine's death in Logan, but the performers have noted that the 2017 film will not factor into Deadpool 3's narrative.

One person who does have an idea for how Wade Wilson and Logan could team up is Rob Liefeld, who originally created Deadpool for Marvel Comics. "I mean, they both have a healing factor," Liefeld said. "I can see a healing factor one-off, where the two just decapitate each other and regrow limbs, right? Or at the very least Wolverine slices generous pieces of Deadpool off."

While Jackman may be making his long-awaited return to Wolverine, some fans are wondering whether Deadpool 3 will also see the return of Zazie Beetz's Domino, who played the role in Wade Wilson's second film. "I don't know. We'll see," Beetz said. "I would love to do more Deadpool, but that's me. So, I can't... Yeah, I can't reveal."

Deadpool 3 is slated to arrive in theaters on Nov. 8, 2024.
