Wilson joined the MCU in 2021's Loki, quickly becoming a fan-favorite character as he worked alongside Tom Hiddleston's trickster anti-hero. Agent Mobius is confirmed to return in the Disney+ series' second season, although to what extent is currently unknown. The original arc saw Loki land in an alternate timeline Time Variance Authority with Wilson's character having seemingly never met him. The actor has yet to share any concrete details on this new version of Mobius but set pictures do suggest that the TVA operative will finally come to possess his long-sought-after jetski.

What Lies Ahead for Agent Mobius?

As far as information surrounding Loki's continued adventures, news on Season 2 remains scarce. Tom Hiddleston, who plays the deceptive Asgardian, has promised fans the next chapter will see the character taking on the very organization that gave him a second chance. "Season 2 is kind of a challenge of a question asked of the [Time Variance Authority] itself," he said. "A battle for the soul of the TVA."

Wilson himself has been adamant that he won't be leaking any potential spoilers, revealing that Marvel Studios has already had to speak to him about sharing too much. "I kind of talked about how I've worked on a lot of things, but the -- sort of the secrecy sort of surrounding this, I didn't quite understand until I saw that it's just so much," Wilson said. "The fan base is so, kind of revved up and passionate, and Marvel's just so kind of committed to trying to surprise people." The actor went on to confirm that he has been "scolded" or inadvertently spoiling certain reveals in Loki.

Loki Season 1 is now available to stream on Disney+ while Season 2 does not yet have a confirmed release date. Deadpool is currently slated to arrive in theaters on Sept. 6, 2024.
