Bob's Burgers writers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin have signed on to pen the script for Ryan Reynolds' third Deadpool film.

According to Deadline, Reynolds decided on the Molyneux sisters after meeting with a number of different writers. The official Deadpool movie account also responded to the news with an image of Bob with a pair of swords strapped to his back.

While very little is known about Deadpool 3, the project is notable for being the first franchise entry since The Walt Disney Company's acquisition of 2oth Century Fox, the former home of Marvel's X-Men films. As such, Deadpool 3 will be a product of the Disney-owned Marvel Studios, meaning Marvel Studios President and Marvel Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige will have a hand in the project.

That said, it remains to be seen how the family-friendly studio will choose to handle the decidedly R-rated Deadpool, whose first two films grossed a collective $1.57 billion worldwide.

Also unknown is who will helm Deadpool 3. The first film was directed by Tim Miller and the second by David Leitch. However, Leitch isn't expected to return due to a packed schedule.

Written by Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin, Deadpool 3 stars Ryan Reynolds. The film has yet to receive a release date.
