Deadpool 2 Trailer Gets the LEGO Treatment

Deadpool 2 is the latest in a long line of movies to receive the LEGO treatment. Created and uploaded by Huxley Berg Studios, this new video recreates the first full Deadpool 2 trailer shot-for-shot, replacing the live-action footage with LEGO figures. The recreation even includes miniature versions of the characters that Deadpool uses to mimic a Wild West-style showdown between Cable and himself.

This trailer acts as an introduction to Josh Brolin's cable, a mutant from a dystopian future who travels back in time. In typical Deadpool style, Ryan Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth interrupts Cable's dialogue and hilarity ensues. This LEGO trailer follows hot on the heels of the Avengers: Infinity War Super Bowl trailer, the action-packed throne room scene from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and the "Wet on Wet" teaser also for Deadpool 2.

Debuting in theaters on May 18, Deadpool 2 is directed by David Letch and stars Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapičić as Colossus, Zazie Beetz as Domino and Josh Brolin as Cable.
