SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for Deadpool 2, in theaters now.

As David Leitch's Deadpool 2 soars to the top of the box office, actor Terry Crews is opening up about one of the movie's biggest twists: the tragic fate of X-Force.

Speaking to Business Insider, Crews discussed X-Force's shocking demise. "I knew everything. We were trolling the world," Crews revealed. "That was the whole point. And the big thing was to keep it a secret. That was the hardest part. I didn't even tell my wife what was going to happen. My son was like, 'What happens?' and I was like, 'I'm not going to tell you.'"

"We shot a whole scene that we knew was never going to be in the movie," he recalled. "I'm telling you, it's the biggest troll of all time. I couldn't believe we were going to do this... Everything that we shot that isn't in the movie was done to fool everybody to think that me and the other members of X-Force were going to be in the movie the whole time."

In the movie, X-Force leaps from the back of a plane into high winds, which leads to a series of gruesome deaths. In the movie's post-credit scene, Deadpool went back in time with the use of Cable's time travel device to save fan-favorite X-Force member Peter. Sadly, it seems Deadpool only rescued Peter, meaning Bedlam is still dead.

Directed by David Leitch, Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, and Karan Soni as Dopinder, with newcomers Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable and Julian Dennison as Russell. The film is playing in theaters everywhere.
