Move Over, Thanos, Now Deadpool Demands Your Silence, Too

As if calling out Josh Brolin's Marvel Cinematic Universe role in the trailer wasn't enough, now Wade Wilson is ripping off Thanos' style with a letter requesting that "the greatest fans in the whole universe" not to spoil Deadpool 2.

Borrowing a page, and a photo, and a hashtag, from Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo, the Merc With a Mouth makes his plea while possibly (OK, not really) spoiling the plot in the process.

Lovingly, Wade. #deadpool2 pic.twitter.com/FEPOCVKRDc

To the greatest fans in the whole universe.

We have embarked on the "Deadpool 2: This Is Kind of Your Guys' Fault" World Tour. Almost everyone involved in the film has given Maximum Effort the past two years, maintaining the highest level of super secrets, like how David Blaine catches bullets in his mouth. And the secret blend of 11 herbs and spices in Colonel Sanders' delicious moustache.

Only a handful of people know the film's true plot. One of them is not Ryan Reynolds. We're asking that when you see Deadpool 2, you don't say a fucking word about the fun shit in the movie. Cause it'd be super lame to spoil the fact that Deadpool dies in this one. Kidding. Not kidding. Kidding?

Of course, the photo itself contains a few gems, with the 20th Century Fox letterhead crossed out and replaced with the scrawled letters "TBD," a reference to the financial wranglings of both Comcast and Disney for the key assets of the studio's parent company, 21st Century Fox. In place of the Infinity Gauntlet is Deadpool's own blood-specked hand, joined by that of a baby, presumably signing "I love you," and the paws of a dog and a cat. Also, Wade signs his name with a red X, because, of course he does.
