Wade Wilson has finally found an opponent he can’t defeat: Mickey Mouse.
Deadpool 2 star Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to convey his take on the much talked about Walt Disney Company/21st Century Fox deal. The actor posted a photoshopped picture of Deadpool being escorted off the Disneyland premises by a security guard, with the caption, “Apparently you can’t actually blow the Matterhorn.”

An obvious reference to the Disney park’s famous Matterhorn Bobsleds, which, in fact feature no horns to be blown. The actor’s tweet is a typical Ryan Reynolds reaction, one that blends the actor and the crazy character he plays together.
The deal, which saw Disney offer $52.4 billion to take control of dozens of Fox’s assets, has yet to be approved by federal regulators. But already, fans are wondering what this will mean for Fox’s Deadpool movies, and if there could be any way for Reynolds — whom many agree is perfect for the role — to stay on board should the deal go through.
While Disney CEO Bob Iger indicated today that the studio will more than likely leave the Merc with a Mouth’s adventures under an R-rated umbrella, could Reynolds be a bit leery of Deadpool’s new overlords…?
Nah – he probably just wanted to make a dirty joke about the biggest news of the year.
Deadpool 2 arrives in theaters on June 1, 2018. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Josh Brolin, Zazie Beets, TJ Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapicic, Leslie Uggams, Jack Kesy, Karan Soni and Eddie Marsan.
