Negasonic Teenage Warhead will level up in her career with the X-Men in Deadpool 2.
The film's teaser trailer, released Wednesday, depicted Brianna Hildebrand's Negasonic Teenage Warhead wearing a new uniform, emblazoned with the iconic X-symbol. That's because, according to actor Stefan Kapicic, who played her mentor Colossus in the first film, "she's progressing, as you can see. She is not my trainee anymore." He revealed that "she definitely has approached the new level of X-Men, as you can see. Even the haircut."
Hildebrand's performance in the 2016 film was praised by moviegoers, so it's good to see her moving up in the world of Deadpool. Maybe the film can afford more X-Men this time around.
Opening June 1, 2018, director David Leitch’s Deadpool 2 features the return of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, and Karan Soni as Dopinder, joined by franchise newcomers Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable, Julian Dennison in an unknown role and Jack Kesy as a villain widely thought to be Black Tom Cassidy.
