WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for Deadpool 2, in theaters now.

As director David Leitch's Deadpool 2 swings a bloody katana at the box office, the sequel to 2016's R-rated blockbuster boasts one of the most impressive casts around. But did anyone spot Matt Damon in there, too?

Ryan Reynolds has once again suited up as the Merc With a Mouth, this time joined by Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino alongside the likes of Terry Crews and Bill Skarsgård as members of the X-Force. As well as the spoilerific leak that Brad Pitt sneaked in a cameo, it turns out the Bourne star also had a part to play.

While Pitt was relatively easy to spot as Vanisher, Screen Rant reveals fans will have to look a lot harder to find Damon's role: Brolin's arrival as Cable is when Damon can be seen in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it part. As Cable walks into a bar full of rednecks, Firefly's Alan Tudyk gets the credit of "Redneck #2," but a character named Dickie Greenleaf is reportedly Damon under a bad wig and prosthetic belly. For those who need reminding, Damon's character is the one explaining the proper way to use a toilet.

Radio Times had already teased that a major Hollywood name would be going under the alias of Greenleaf in the movie as a nod to The Talented Mr. Ripley, leading many to suspect that either Jude Law of Damon would appear in Deadpool 2. As for the strange inclusion of the scene, co-writer Rhett Reese says the disgusting conversation comes from real-life:

“I have a toilet paper manifesto of my own, abut the inadequacy of toilet paper,” he explained. "I do this bit about it, and I did it for Ryan. We all looked at each other and said, ‘This has to go into the movie somehow.’" As for settling on a heavily hidden Damon for the bit, Reese continued, “Then we discussed what caliber actor would we need to do such a scene…”

It is only a minor nod to Damon, with the actor not even using his real name. But his lurking in the background of superhero movies may be developing into a tradition, as he portrayed one of the Asgardian actors in Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok. With rumors always circling about Damon joining a Marvel movie in a bigger capacity, he certainly has the resume to line himself up for one of the many upcoming roles.

Directed by David Leitch, Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, and Karan Soni as Dopinder, with newcomers Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable and Julian Dennison as Russell. The film is playing in theaters everywhere.
