Following up the character's official unveiling earlier this week, a new photo of Josh Brolin's Cable has surfaced from the set of Deadpool 2 courtesy of leading actor Ryan Reynolds. This time the time-traveling mutant is showcasing a gun of a different variety, as the hulking mutant is seen posing alongside the film's eponymous anti-hero -- but the Deadpool shown via the actor's Instagram is of a more pint-sized persuasion than one might expect.

Reynolds also uploaded the image to his Twitter account, but elected to provide a different caption. Maintaining his Merc with a Mouth persona, he stated, "Josh Brolin and I love to just hang out and chat between takes. He calls me his lil' Shake Weight™."

Currently filming in Vancouver, the sequel apparently required the closure of city streets to accommodate the production, so Reynolds used his Twitter to thank the citizens and officers involved to make it happen. Many might have missed the web-slinging motion that one man involved threw up to homage a different Marvel character altogether, but the Deadpool actor definitely did not, and of course seized the comedic opportunity to riff on it.
