When Deadpool 2 arrives on Blu-ray and Digital HD, it will be packed with a ton of bonus features and extra content. Details regarding what exactly will be found in the bonus features has made its way online, and one item marks the cinematic debut of a Russian X-Men villain.
The bonus feature titled "Chess with Omega Red" namedrops Arkady Gregorivich, who has tussled with Wolverine and the X-Men on numerous occasions. Omega Red is a Russian super-s0ldier whose mutant powers allow him to secrete deadly toxins from his body. The drawback of these powers forces Omega Red to feast on the life force of others.
Unfortunately, the Deadpool 2 home release details don't specify in what capacity Omega Red will appear in the teased chess match with Wade Wilson. There is the possibility the villain appears in the flesh to play an actual chess game. However, with this being Deadpool, the Merc With a Mouth could plop an Omega Red doll down in front of him for a challenge.
Along with the Omega Red reveal, the Blu-ray release will also include deleted scenes, a gag reel, confirmation of who is the most important X-Force member, the Deadpool Prison Experiment, Swole and Sexy, Deadpool's Fun Sack 2 and a “3-Minute Monologue.”
Fans of Deadpool 2 that are heading to Comic-Con International in San Diego can head to Hall H Saturday night for an uncut, R-rated version of the sequel.
