Deadpool 2 just got a little more Canadian. A new set photo from HollywoodNorth.buzz captures an Easter egg from the upcoming film that appears as an advertisement on a taxi. The ad totes a Canadian airline called "Alpha Flight," which has the same name as a longstanding mutant super team in the Marvel Comics Universe.

The Deadpool 2 ad for Alpha Flash boasts "cheap flights," "last minute deals" and "travel insurance," but the comic book version is a little different. Introduced in 1979's X-Men #120, Alpha Flight was a Canadian super team with members like Guardian, Northstar, Aurora, Sasquatch, Shaman and Snowbird. They were introduced as part of Wolverine's backstory before spinning off into their own series, which ran from 1983 until 1994. Though their solo series ended, Alpha Flight has maintained a strong presence in Marvel Comics; Northstar would go on to become a regular member of the X-Men, and the team recently had a prominent role in Captain Marvel. Other incarnations of the group included characters like Puck, Vindicator and Murmur.

Notably, Ryan Reynolds -- who plays the titular Merc with a Mouth -- is Canadian himself. As such, this may be a wink and a nod to Reynolds and his background. Additionally, the actor is a big fan of his character in the comics, so it wouldn't be terribly surprising if he is familiar Alpha Flight.

Deadpool 2 is still in the process of filming, so it's unclear at this time if the Alpha Flight Easter egg will be included in the final cut of the movie. Not much is known about the sequel, directed by David Leitch (John Wick), beyond that it will mark the debut of Zazie Beetz as Domino and Josh Brolin as Cable. The film will also see Jack Kesy play the villain, widely believed to be Black Tom Cassidy.

Deadpool, which was rated-R, was a surprise smash when it opened in 2016, grossing $363 million domestically and an astounding $783 million worldwide. A sequel was teased in the end credits and later confirmed by Fox following the film’s box office success.

Arriving in theaters June 1, 2018, Deadpool 2 will see the return of Ryan Reynolds, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand and Karan Soni, accompanied by franchise newcomers Zazie Beetz as Domino and Josh Brolin as Cable.
