Like the comic series of the same name, Deadly Class follows a group of 1980s teenage misfits that are enrolled in a private academy training them to be assassins. Fueled by sex, drugs, and rock & roll, the aspiring killers must not only survive the reckless abandon of youth but literally survive each other as deadly rivalries begin to form.

The comic series debuted in January 2014 to critical and commercial success with Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo producing the adaptation which received a full series order from SyFy this past April. The banner tweeted by Remender was first seen as part of Image Comics display at Comic-Con International in San Diego this past July where the series had a major presence.
