Dead by Daylight Game Adds Stranger Things Characters in New Update

The 1980s scares of Stranger Things are coming to the popular online horror game Dead by Daylight next month, with a new DLC chapter that adds content inspired by the acclaimed Netflix original series.

Behaviour Interactive has released a trailer of the upcoming content, including Season 1's ravenous Demogorgon as a new killer, teenage main characters Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler as new survivors, and the Hawkins National Laboratory as a new level.

Dead By Daylight has players team up online to evade a single, unstoppable killer stalking them throughout an open-world level while working together to open an exit and escape. Previous horror icons included in the video game include Halloween's Michael Myers and A Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Krueger.

With the Demogorgon, the voracious monster from the Upside-Down, hunting players in the latest update, Steve and Nancy will have to rely on their wits and work together to escape the extra-dimensional beast.
