Like any successful horror series, Dead By Daylight just keeps going on and on and on. Rumors have been circulating that Pennywise from It could be a killer featured in an upcoming DLC. Whether it is Tim Curry's Pennywise or Bill Skarsgard's, It would surely leave players howling in one way or another.

Starting with just three killers, the game's line-up has branched out and currently sports over 20 killers through DLC. With fan favorites like Michael Myers and Pyramid Head making their way into the game, there's no telling who might show up next. If any horror movie killers should get DLCs, it should be these ten.

10 Candyman

You just can't have a horror game where a killer impales people on hooks without Daniel Robitaille, AKA Candyman. He's the hook-handed killer that everyone thinks of and someone who revels in torturing people. With him around, players would have to be listening for crows and the buzz of honey bees as he teleports toward victims just like the Nurse.

The dilapidated apartment complex of Cabrini-Green would serve as the ideal map, forcing players to work through the labyrinth of apartments to escape. It's a surprise that players aren't already begging to be his victim.

9 Jack Torrence

Jack Torrance breaking through a door in The Shining

If Dead By Daylight lets Pennywise in, they might as well add Jack Torrence into the mix. Before the It reboot, The Shining was the iconic Steven King book everyone knew about.

Not only would players get a crazed, ax-wielding maniac but they could get the Overlook Hotel as a map. Given his proficiency with an ax, he should chop through wooden pallets faster than other killers. Just as long as they don't add the hedge maze; otherwise the players might end up lost too.

8 Killer Klowns From Outer Space

Who says that Dead By Daylight can only have one alien clown? Killer Klowns From Outer Space is a campy horror movie about clown-like aliens arriving on Earth to terrorize people, place them in cotton candy cocoons, and drink their blood through silly straws.

Having players run through a funhouse of a spaceship would add some variety to the game's maps and introduce a killer with perks and powers cemented in dark comedy. People can't seem to get enough of villainous clowns so why not let these B-movie antagonists have some fun?

7 Ricky Caldwell

Billy Chapman as Santa in Silent Night, Deadly Night

Admittedly, Ricky Calwell from Silent Night, Deadly Night is a gag character but no doubt a fun one to include. He'd make a great addition around the holiday season when players want a killer that fits the time of year.

Especially if they're being hunted by someone dressed as a deranged mall Santa. Since Ricky mainly targets people who are naughty, he could gain perks if survivors ignore hooked survivors that would improve his aura-reading. At the very least it would make a great white elephant gift.

6 Krampus

Santa Claus And His Other Half

If players want a terrifying Christmas-themed killer, look no further than Krampus. The most notable incarnation in recent years has been 2015's Krampus which follows the mythical beast hunting a family that has forgotten their holiday spirit. What makes this iteration worth considering is because his victims are already trapped in a frozen hellscape.

It could be fun to have someone play as Krampus and stick victims on hooks made of candy canes and leave behind holiday-related traps. Much like Ricky, survivors could even be rewarded or punished depending on if they help their teammates and help each other out.

5 The Tethered

Jordan Peele's Us introduced the world to the Tethered, "soulless" doppelgangers that were made as a result of a failed government cloning experiment. The game could choose Red as the killer and Adelaide as a survivor or assign a Tethered version of one of the survivors clad in red jumpsuits.

Either way, players could be placed in the underground tunnels the Tethered lived in trying to unlock the escalators. All the while a psychotic killer chases them around in a red jumpsuit with scissors and chilling violins playing when they enter the terror radius.

4 Norman Bates

Seeing as Obsession is an important mechanic in the game, it makes sense that the mother-obsessed murderer Norman Bates would make an appearance. While he's pretty lame compared to modern killers, he's arguably the godfather (or mother) of slasher villains long before Jason or Michael Myers hit the scene.

Bates's iconic violin sting would be perfect for his terror radius as he chases players around the Bates Motel and swamp. His power and perks could even tie to his mother directing him towards his prey. Plus it would be interesting playing on a black-and-white map.

3 Babyface Killer

The only thing worse than being trapped in a time loop is being trapped in a time loop with a serial killer. Players could get the chance to experience this if they allow the Babyface Killer from Happy Death Day into the game.

Even without incorporating time loops into the matches, Babyface has proven over multiple time loops that they are an excellent tracker. They're likely to develop an obsession with one player but maybe instead of saving their obsession for last, Babyface could gain perks for hurting and killing them first. If Ghostface can make it in, then so can Babyface.

2 Matthew Buckner (Cabin in the Woods)

Cabin in the Woods is a masterfully, subversive movie that is filled with a plethora of monsters and killers. If only one monstrosity had to be picked as a killer, it would have to be Matthew Buckner. The Buckner family are the main threats to the protagonists and Matthew is the most malicious and strongest zombie.

Hunting his prey using a bear trap as a flail, survivors would have to run from him through the titular cabin or the underground base and grant bonuses by killing players in the right order. It wouldn't be his first time killing on behalf of a higher power.

1 Art the Clown

Art the clown smiling at the girls in the pizzeria

As scary as Pennywise can be, he's nowhere near as twisted as Art the Clown. This grindhouse villain would need to tone down his kills for the game but he would make a fitting addition nonetheless. He may not have the best backstory, but he's versatile enough to work in any setting and could gain power by stalking his victims much like Michael Myers.

While the end of Terrifier hinted that Art might have supernatural abilities, that will remain unclear until the sequel comes out. What is clear is that Art was practically made to hunt down survivors and stick them on rusty hooks for a mysterious entity.
