The Legends of Tomorrow are gearing up for a throwback in the third episode of the fan-favorite Arrowverse series.
The network has released a promo for the cheekily titled "Slay Anything," as the Legends assemble for a high school class reunion to track down a serial killer. Through its high school setting and hunt to stop a murderer, the promo channels both popular coming-of-age movies by filmmaker John Hughes and slasher flicks that were also prevalent during the decade.

SURVIVING FAMILY -- When the Legends discover a new Encore, Sara (Caity Lotz), Rory (Dominic Purcell) and Ava (Jes Macallan) end up crashing a high school reunion to attempt to stop a serial killer from finishing unfinished business. The Legends devise a plan to send Nate (Nick Zano), Ray (Brandon Routh), Nora (Courtney Ford), Behrad (guest star Shayan Sobhian) and their hostage Zari (Tala Ashe), back in time to try and intervene in order to try to save everyone including them. Meanwhile, Constantine (Matt Ryan) is annoyed that Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) has been squatting in his old home, but it might be the blessing in disguise they were not looking for. With the Legends still acclimating to their new status quo following the Crisis, the high school setting offers the team the chance to get used to their new normal in a more familiar setting than they are accustomed to... minus the serial killer on the loose, of course.
