Tom Taylor and Trevor Hairsine's mini-series DCEased is getting a sequel, DCEased: Dead Planet.  During a recent interview, Taylor hinted at the return of Earth-1 in the zombie apocalypse story.

The Hollywood Reporter pointed out that the survivors of the Anti-Life Equation were looking for Earth-2, aiming to use that as their home after the original had been lost to the infection. Batman, Wonder Woman and many other core heroes had been killed.

When asked how the story can continue, Taylor said that although the Justice League had died, he strategically created a new Justice League to take its place. This new League includes characters such as Jon Kent, Damian Wayne, Cassie Sandsmark, Mera and more. Teasing a return to Earth-1, Taylor said, "Now, five years later, this new Justice League of Earth 2 receive a distress call from their former home. They’re heroes, they can’t ignore it. Even if they should …"

The official release date for DCeased: Dead Planet has not yet been announced. Currently, Taylor is also writing DCeased: Unkillables, a side series for the DCeased line.
