DCeased: Dead Planet writer Tom Taylor has confirmed the release date for Issue #1 of the sequel to his hit out-of-continuity zombie miniseries.
"Youâve been asking, and Iâm happy to announce the sequel to [DCeased,] âDead Planetâ debuts on June 30!" Taylor tweeted. He also included Ben Oliver's movie homage variant cover, which pays tribute to the 1982 sci-fi classic Blade Runner, albeit with John Constantine as Rick Deckard, Cassie Sandsmark/Wonder Woman as Rachel (albeit with their positions reversed) and Doctor Fate as a Spinner.
DCeased: Dead Planet #1 was originally scheduled to go on sale June 10. However, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the comic book industry came to a temporary standstill.
