Moon Knight's status as the Fist of Khonshu has made him Marvel's most underrated vigilante. Marc Spector and his various personalities have been surprising foes for years; he's skilled, well-equipped, and ready to do whatever it takes to win. Add in immortality, resistance to telepathy, and a pain threshold that is truly inhuman, and Moon Knight is known for beating the odds.

Moon Knight has battled a lot of deadly foes, but he'd be challenged by DC's villains. While he wouldn't win every battle, some of the toughest ever would fall before the fury of Khonshu's favorite servant.

10 KGBeast Would Learn New Definitions Of Pain

DC Comics KGBeast

KGBeast made a splash right out the gate, challenging Batman and escaping a fate worse than death. Since then, he's been one of the world's foremost mercenaries and was even able to grievously injure Nightwing by shooting him in the head. While his gun arm is his most obvious weapon, KGBeast is a cunning and skilled fighter with an expertise in hand-to-hand combat.

KGBeast's gun arm gives him a long-range advantage, but Moon Knight has dealt with foes with guns before. He'll be able to get in close, and at that point, his high pain tolerance and greater martial arts skills come into play. Moon Knight is faster and will give KGBeast a clinic in pain.

9 Moon Knight Would Beat Blockbuster By Fighting Smarter

DC Bludhaven Blockbuster Looms Nightwing Tied Up

Blockbuster is the hulking crime boss of Blüdhaven, his super strength and durability making him a frightening presence. However, what people should be scared of is his crafty criminal mind. Blockbuster is dangerous in every way, but Moon Knight isn't going to be too daunted by the big crime lord.

As powerful as Blockbuster is, he still has all the limitations of a big man. He's slow, and an agile, skilled opponent like Moon Knight can take advantage of that. He'll fight circles around Blockbuster, much like Nightwing does. The difference is Moon Knight has better weapons and is way more brutal. Blockbuster would never forget the beating he got from Moon Knight.

8 Vandal Savage Would Learn Humility From The Fist Of Khonshu

Vandal Savage surrounded by his immortal riches in DC Comics

Vandal Savage is probably the oldest human on Earth. For a hundred thousand years, he's traveled the world, basically doing whatever he wanted and amassing the kind of power base others can only dream of. The meteor that gave him immortality also enhanced his strength, speed, and intelligence, making him a deadly foe.

None of that is going to matter against Moon Knight. Savage's physical advantages aren't enough to allow him to one-shot Moon Knight, and his arrogance is always his undoing. Savage would get the upper hand at first, but he'd make a critical mistake. At that point, Moon Knight would be all over him and beat him down.

7 Killer Croc's Strength Wouldn't Make Up For The Fact He's Kind Of Unintelligent

Killer Croc from DC Comics

Killer Croc is one of Batman's most terrifying foes, an animalistic predator who isn't averse to chowing down on a human or two when he needs to. Inhumanly strong, fast, and durable, Killer Croc's biggest problem is his lack of imagination. He lacks intelligence and depends on his brute strength too much. That's going to cost him against Moon Knight.

Killer Croc is always going to lose to someone as skilled as Moon Knight despite his superpowers. He can be quite fast, but Moon Knight is much craftier. His weapons give him long-range attacks Croc can't match, and he has no problem getting down and dirty. It'll be a brutal fight, but mostly because of the beating Croc's going to take.

6 The Joker Doesn't Stand A Chance In A Fight With Moon Knight

Joker smiling while holding a human skull up to his head.

The Joker's attacks on Gotham have made him a legend, and he's a much more formidable fighter than people give him credit for. He can fight Batman to a standstill, his surprising toughness and tenacity making up for a lack of finesse. He's good at everything that kills people, but that doesn't mean he's going to be able to hold a candle to Moon Knight.

Moon Knight is so far out of Joker's league it isn't funny. The same could be said of Batman, but Moon Knight is more violent than the Caped Crusader. He's not going to play with Joker, taking him down hard and fast.

5 Gorilla Grodd's Telepathy Won't Work On Moon Knight

DC Gorilla Grodd battling The Flash

The Flash has some of DC's best villains. The most savage of them is Gorilla Grodd. The sometimes dictator of Gorilla City is a devastating opponent, as strong and fast as one would imagine, but his greatest weapon is his mind. Grodd is not only very intelligent, he's also a telepath. Against anyone else, that would be enough, but Moon Knight is immune to it.

At that point, it's just a very strong gorilla versus one of the toughest hand-to-hand fighters around. That's a fight Moon Knight can handle. Grodd has obvious advantages, so Moon Knight is going to resort to hit-and-run attacks, using his greater agility and weaponry to win the battle.

4 Deathstroke Isn't Going To Be Able To Beat The Former Mercenary

How Deathstroke Has Become the Full-On Villain of DC's Dark Crisis

Deathstroke earned his place as the Teen Titans' biggest villain before bringing his threat to the rest of the DC Universe. The super-soldier has battled against some of the greatest heroes and won, all because of his enhanced strategic mind. He and Moon Knight have a lot in common as mercenaries, but that's not going to help Deathstroke win.

One of Deathstroke's main problems is hubris. He believes his hype. He'll look at Moon Knight and think Batman wannabe, and he'll fight him that way. That's a huge mistake that Moon Knight would make him pay for. Their fight would be long and brutal, but Moon Knight would still take it.

3 Ra's al Ghul's Experience Won't Save Him From Moon Knight

An image of DC Comics' Ra's Al Ghul getting ready for a fight

Ra's al Ghul has a specific vision for the world, and he'll do anything to make it happen. The leader of the League of Assassins is a cunning tactician and has the fighting skills to match. Many have died at the point of his blade over the years, and he likes to test opponents. He'll challenge Moon Knight to a duel, which would be a mistake.

RELATED: 8 Ways Moon Knight Can Tie Into The Phase 4's Future

Batman was liable to follow al Ghul's rules, which has won and lost him fights with the immortal. Moon Knight is not going to. He'll bring another weapon into play other than the sword al Ghul gives him, something that villain would decry. His protestations wouldn't matter, as Moon Knight would have beaten him not long after.

2 Prometheus's Lack Of Plan Against Moon Knight Is Going To Cost Him

Prometheus devastates the Justice League in DC Comics

Prometheus inherited his parents' legacy of evil and added to it, using their fortune after their deaths to create his powerful armor. Devoting himself to destroying the heroes, he made meticulous plans against his foes and has bloodied their noses on several occasions. He's never able to seal the deal, and that's going to be a problem against Moon Knight.

Prometheus likes to have plans for his foes. He won't have one for Moon Knight, which will hurt his chances. He'll probably try to outfight the Fist of Khonshu, but Moon Knight's high pain tolerance and uncanny ability to do precisely the opposite of what his foes think he'll do will give him the advantage he needs to beat Prometheus.

1 Bane Wouldn't Be Able To Break Moon Knight

Bane breaks Batman's back in DC Comics Knightfall

Bane is one of Batman's cruelest foes and also one of his most successful. He's handed Batman some massive losses over the years, tailoring his plans to break the Bat in more ways than one. Even without a plan, he's still quite deadly; his Venom enhanced strength and fighting skill make Bane a dangerous foe to anyone. He'll give Moon Knight problems, but he wouldn't be able to win.

Bane's strength is his greatest advantage against Moon Knight, but it's not going to be enough. Moon Knight is smart enough to know not to match strength against his massive foe. He'll fight smarter, using long-range weapons and quick attacks to wear Bane down before he goes for the coup de grâce and ends the battle.
