If you are still contemplating the perfect Valentine's Day gift to get for that very special person in your life, then DC Universe has you covered with spooky, DC-themed digital V-Day cards. The streaming service is releasing a total of nine cards, with a set of three being made available today through Feb. 13.
CBR can exclusively reveal the final three cards ahead of their availability on Thursday. Each card mixes the romantic holiday with the spooktacular, with artwork depicting caskets, hourglasses and vampires.
The first card shows someone lugging a casket on his back as he is watched walking across a bridge, with a caption that reads, "Don't worry Valentine. I've got your back." Card #2 features a demon inside an hourglass as it fills with sand. Figures with gray skin can be seen reaching up to the red-skinned creature as they struggle to survive. It's caption says, "Spend some time with me, Valentine!" The final card promises to sweep you off your feet with Dracula holding a damsel in distress in his outstretched arms as bats hover in the sky.
These Valentine's Day-themed cards are not exclusive to DC Universe members, so anyone can download, print and send them to their loved ones. Of course, the perfect gift for the comic book fan in the relationship is a digital subscription to DC Universe, which is also highlighting special V-Day titles for subscribers to check out.
