Those hoping to keep the revelations of "DC Universe: Rebirth" #1 a surprise until its release next week should probably steer away from social media for the next several days, as details of the one-shot leaked online Friday.

They're not insignificant, either, trumpeting the major changes DC Comics has planned for its Rebirth initiative.

With the spoilers now out there, DC has lifted the embargo on the plot details of the special issue, written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Ethan Van Sciver, Ivan Reis, Gary Frank and Phil Jimenez.

Warning: If you don't want to know just some of the numerous revelations of "DC Universe: Rebirth" #1, turn back now!

Wally West is Back!

"DC Universe: Rebirth" opens with a bang -- OK, more like a "KRA-KKOOOMM" -- and the return of Wally West, who serves as narrator and guide for the one-shot as he bounces around the DC Universe, searching for a tether to this world. However, this isn't the Wally as readers last saw him: He's younger and wearing the Kid Flash costume he hung up three decades ago.

He's Not the Only One

More legacies are re-established, as Ted Kord -- still the Blue Beetle for many DC fans -- meets with Jaime Reyes, and Ryan Choi receives a message from Ray Palmer to save him in the Microverse.

And that's only the beginning, as Aqualad Jackson Hyde is back, and the seeds are planted for the rebirth of the Justice Society of America and the Legion of Super-Heroes.

The Joke's on Us (and Batman)

Now we know why Batman was so shocked to learn the identity of the Joker when he sat in the Mobius Chair during "Darkseid War": There isn't one Clown Prince of Crime, but rather three.

Missing Time?

The one-shot confirms someone stole 10 years from the DC Universe, which not only accounts for the New 52 but also why many relationships have been altered, something addressed int he pages of "Titans Hunt." Here it's illustrated by Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance, who "feel a spark neither one of them can explain."

Speaking of Relationships ...

We learn the pre-New 52 Superman survived "Convergence," grew a beard and has been holed up with Lois and their son Jonathan, that Wonder Woman has a twin brother, and that, at least for Aquaman and Mera, love can withstand any number of cosmic upheavals and continuity reboots.

Someone Should've Been Watching the Watchmen

Of course the biggest reveal, and undoubtedly the one everyone is talking about, is that the world of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' "Watchmen" has become intertwined with the DC Universe -- and it's suggested that none other than Doctor Manhattan is responsible for the changes that occurred with the New 52. Did he create a new universe, similar to his attempt in "Before Watchmen: Doctor Manhattan" #4?

That alone should give readers plenty to unpack, long after "DC Universe: Rebirth" #1 goes on sale Wednesday. But of course these aren't the only revelations of the one-shot ...
