In May, it was revealed that the popular free-to-play MMO DC Universe Online was headed to the Nintendo Switch this summer. Now, shortly after launch, players will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Dark Nights: Metal.
Written by Scott Snyder with art by Greg Capullo, Dark Nights: Metal told the story of the heroes of the DCU dealing with threats from the newly discovered Dark Multiverse, including Barbatos and a league of Dark Knights led by The Batman Who Laughs.
The two new episodes, "Metal Part I" and "Part II," will launch in September and December respectively. Here are the synopses from Daybreak Games:
In Metal Part I, Batman has breached the barrier between our world and the Dark Multiverse, and then disappeared. In through the breach storm the Dark Knights, twisted versions of Batman hell-bent on revenge. In Metal Part II, the saga of the Dark Knights, the Dark Multiverse, and Metal will come to an explosive conclusion.
DC Universe Online, by Daybreak Games, is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will come to the Nintendo Switch August 6.
