WARNING: The following article contains mild spoilers for Action Comics #1004 by Brian Michael Bendis, Ryan Sook, Wade Von Grawbadger, Brad Anderson and Josh Reed, in stores now.

While James Wan’s Aquaman will hit theaters this Christmas, audiences will have to wait a while longer to see the next DC Films project when David F. Sandberg’s Shazam! hits theaters on April 5, 2019. The film stars Zachary Levi as the title superhero, the powerful alter ego to Asher Angel’s Billy Batson.

So far, we've seen a few official photos, and a trailer to give us a taste of the action that will unfold in the film, but that's pretty much it. However, there is one place where fans have apparently already seen the movie: The DC Universe.

Lois Lane desk Action Comics

Each issue of writer Brian Michael Bendis’ run on Action Comics has featured an opening page that offers a close-up shot of a Daily Planet work desk, be it Clark Kent’s, Jimmy Olsen’s or Perry White’s. In issue #1004, we get a shot of Lois Lane’s desk and, like all the others, it is filled with fun little Easter eggs, nods to other events, and potential teases at upcoming storylines.

On top of many mentions of Lex Luthor, a folder labeled “Dial H” and a possible tease of the return of Checkmate, we also see Lois’ iPhone next to her laptop. On the phone’s screen, we can see the current song she's listening to, and it just so happens to be from the official movie soundtrack of Shazam!

Given that the soundtrack artwork features the Shazam! movie logo that was released a while back, it appears to be the same film we'll get in the real world. Since the movie’s soundtrack hasn’t yet been released in our reality, this indicates that the movie has already been out in the DCU, or is at least near its release date. Which is cool and all, but man, it would have been fun to see its Rotten Tomatoes score.
