Kryptonians, spellcasters and more will be coming to the DC Universe streaming service in August with Season 2 of Krypton and the animated film Justice League Dark: Apokolips War.

Season 2 of Krypton will be available on August 11 and Justice League Dark: Apokolips War will be available on August 21 on DC Universe. Additionally, the streaming service will also add Season 1 of Stargirl and Season 2 of Doom Patrol.

Also coming to the service in August is the the western-inspired DC film Jonah Hex, the Batman Who Laughs #7 -- the conclusive issue of the miniseries -- as well as Year of the Villain one shots with Sinestro and Black Mask, Batman #76, DCeased #4, Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen #2 and more.

Apokolips War is the last movie in the DC Animated Movie Universe and sparked discussion on social media when it was confirmed that Constantine and King Shark were exes. The films sees an Earth conquered by Darkseid. It is up to the Justice League Dark to save the last remaining survivors.

Season 2 of Krypton was the last released before Syfy cancelled the show. It ended with Dru-Zod's successful conquest of the ill-fated planet and his daughter Lyta-Zod under his control. Seg-El, Superman's grandfather, was left having to escape the Phantom Zone and face both Brainiac and Lobo as he and the resistance attempted to wrest control away from Zod.
