At New York Comic Con 2019, DC Universe announced a brand-new short form anthology series titled BizarroTV, which will put the focus one some of DC's more obscure characters and locations.

In an official statement, DC Universe revealed BizarroTV will feature such deep cut DC characters as Space Cabbie, Ambush Bug, Slam Bradley and the Creeper. Furthermore, it will be a mixed media series, blending animation with live-action.

The series gets its name from Bizarro World (also known as Htrae), a fictional cube-shaped planet from the DC comic books where, well, bizarre versions of the publisher's characters reside - most notably Bizarro himself, a doppelganger of Superman.

BizarroTV is produced by Blue Ribbon Content, Warner Bros. Television Group's digital production unit. Blue Ribbon's previous work includes series like Constantine: City of Demons and films like Daphne & Velma.

According to DC Universe, BizarroTV is a show that "demonstrates the Television Group’s commitment to create original and compelling programs for the digital marketplace." Blue Ribbon will apparently be utilizing the studio's established creative team, while also searching for new talent in an effort to experiment with various styles and creative voices.
