It could be that some of the villains are useless, sinister, or have a terrible gimmick that doesn't make sense. However, with all of the chaos that surrounds the DC universe, not every villain can be a fan favorite.

10 Baby Doll A Batman Villian Whose Charm Does Not Work On The Fans

Baby Doll Batman Villian

Baby Doll is a disliked villain in the Batman universe because she doesn't look intimidating and is a little annoying. At first glance, it seems that Batman shouldn't have to don the cape for this supposed villain.

While Baby Doll does have an interesting back story, really that's all the character possesses. She doesn't pose a threat to Batman, her threat level and skill set could and should be handled by the local police. But for some reason, she is a villain and one that isn't all that liked in the DC universe.

9 Mister Mxyzptlk A Superman Villian, That's More Silly Than Bad

Mister Mxyzptlk

When fans of Superman think of a villain that can take on the Man of Steel, they don't typically think of Mister Mxyptlk. He's tiny, he doesn't have any real superpowers, and his main way to antagonize Superman is by playing pranks on him.

What fans really don't like about Mister Mxyptlk is his poor execution. His back story could have been awesome, as Mister Myxzptlk is from the fifth dimension, and can seemingly do whatever he wants. If better executed and more well-written, he can be a great villain.

8 Egg Fu Is Easily Wonder Woman Fans Most Hated Villian

Egg Fu DC

Not only is Egg Fu one of the most disliked villains, but he also has one of the worst concepts in the DC universe. He has an extremely racist complex about him which is overwhelmingly offensive. Egg Fu should never be brought back to light.

There is nothing about him that excites DC fans. He is a mechanical egg, who happens to be a gangster fighting arguably the most powerful woman in the DC universe. In short, it could have been done better morally and artistically, but until Egg Fu is fixed, DC fans should never see him again.

7 Mister Mind, Is A Mind-Boggling Concept Of A Villain

Mister Mind

Mister Mind is an evil mastermind worm from the planet Venus, who finds himself to be Shazam's enemy. Mister Mind's power is his ability to read other people's minds. Fans dislike him even more because he doesn't intimidate in a traditional villain sense as he is two inches tall.

As a worm that goes up against one of the strongest heroes in the DC universe, even with a cool power like telepathy, he isn't a threat. Mister Mind is boring, and it's just a lazy attempt to create a supervillain and DC fans know it.

6 Turtle Man Is A Slow Villain Up Against A Fast Superhero

Turtle Man

Turtle Man is a villain pitted against The Flash, and even though fans dislike him, they understand the reasoning behind such a villain. Flash is a superhero who possesses the power of supersonic hyper speed, and the Turtle Man is the polar opposite.

The Turtle Man's superpower is slowing his surroundings, which consequently slows Flash, which gives Turtle Man a fighting chance. DC likes to compare their superhero and villains as polar opposites, with resembling qualities, but this concept just does not work at all. It has potential, but fans dislike Turtle Man.

5 DC Fans Love To Dislike Poison Ivy

DC Comics Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy is such a good villain that she is disliked by many fans. Not because Poison Ivy is a weak villain, but because she is so devious and frustratingly good at what she does.

Poison Ivy can take Batman out of his element and paralyze him just by her potions. Poison Ivy can turn Batman into a hopeless romantic, and to see Batman in that state is odd to see Batman. When fans want to see Batman they don't want to see a boy head-over-heels for a villain, they want to see action and excitement. It's because of Poison Ivy's devious nature that she is often disliked.

4 The Prankster Is Not A Fan Favorite

The Prankster

The Prankster is a very annoying character, and there is a reason why fans haven't seen him recently in comics, movies, and animations. The Prankster is the least interesting, and the fact DC even had him as a villain is a little insulting.

The Prankster does not have any real powers, he is just some guy who has it out for Superman and is really good at getting under the Man Of Steel's skin. But fans like to think that The Prankster isn't a villain, but rather a nuisance, who hasn't seen much light since his debut.

3 Angle Man Is A Villain Without An Angle

An image of the Wonder Woman villain Angle Man from DC Comics.

Angle Man uses the power of geometry to fight Wonder Woman. There isn't much back story about the villain who uses triangles as his choice of weapons, which leaves fans with unanswered questions. Overall, Angle Man isn't the traditional villain - and not for the better.

Angle Man isn't likable or relatable, and fans are in the dark as to what his villainous motives are. It seems that Angle Man is just a basic petty criminal that runs into Wonder Woman from time to time, math is sometimes scary, but it shouldn't be used as a villain.

2 The Fiddler A Flash Villian Disliked By Many

The Fiddler uses his violin to disorient the Flash in DC Comics

The Fiddler is a villain disliked by DC fans because of how gimmicky his is. When up against The Flash, The Fiddler uses the music of a violin as a weapon. Unfortunately, this weapon isn't accurate - The Flash can go faster than the speed of light, which is much faster than the speed of sound.

But for some reason, The Flash has issues with this villain, when he really shouldn't. But aside from being scientifically incorrect, it's not an interesting concept that fans care for, which is why he is disliked by DC fans.

1 The Penguin Is Arguably The Most Disliked Because He Is Useless

The Penguin

The Penguin is one of Batman's supervillains but he's not that super to DC fans. The Penguin is also known as Oswald Cobblepot who was picked on for his physical features, causing him to be evil.

For a supervillain, The Penguin really lacks in intellect or fighting skills. There is nothing extraordinary about him, he isn't super smart, he doesn't have any technology that gives him an advantage, nor does he have superhuman strength or power. Realistically, The Penguin would be a normal criminal, let alone someone who should be going toe-to-toe with Batman.
