DC is going to reveal the origins of the Titans' Starfire, Raven, Donna Troy and Beast Boy in a brand-new series, Tales of Titans.

Tales of Titans is a four-issue anthology miniseries launching in July 2023. Capturing the spirit of 1982's Tales of the New Teen Titans miniseries, Tales of Titans will explore the backstories of several key Titans characters who are simultaneously starring in a new "Dawn of DC" series launching in May 2023.

DC teased the first issue of Tales of Titans will put "the spotlight on the alien princess and warrior Starfire. Her huge heart, huger hair, and fiery fists have made Starfire a fan-favorite member of the team! When a spaceship bearing Tamaranean markings crash-lands on Earth, Starfire goes on a solo mission to uncover its origins. But what awaits her on that journey will bring her back to the earliest days of her youth, to memories of two sisters eternally at war...and perhaps the chance to keep history from repeating itself."

Tales of Titans #1 is written by Shannon Hale and Dean Hale, illustrated by Javier Rodríguez, features cover art by Nicola Scott and variant cover art by Rodríguez, Stanley "Artgerm" Lau, Fatima Wajid and Chris Samnee. The issue releases on July 18, 2023, from DC.

Lastly, Beast Boy gets his time to shine in Oct. 24, 2023's Tales of the Titans #4 by Andrew Constant and Brandt & Stein. Scott provides main covers for all four issues of Tales of the Titans.
