Season two of the CW's "Legends of Tomorrow" continues on with the Waverider crew hopping from one era to another. The fourth episode of the season, titled "Abominations," will see the superheroes transported back to 1863 -- right in the middle of the Civil War.
And not only will the team have to survive the war between two halves of America, the episode's synopsis also reveals that they'll also have to go up against a ton of Civil War zombies. The promo photos from the episode feature a few of the team members in Civil War uniforms and Caity Lotz's Sara Lance commanding some troops.
SURVIVAL — When the Legends discover a time Aberration in 1863, they find themselves fighting for survival during the Civil War with Confederate soldiers who have been turned into zombies. With the Civil War outcome hanging in the balance, Jax (Franz Drameh) must participate in a daring mission by going to a slave plantation with Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers).
Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) begins to feel the burden of the decisions she has to make as the leader, and Ray (Brandon Routh) struggles to find his purpose on the team. Victor Garber, Dominic Purcell and Nick Zano also star.
Michael Allowitz directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Ray Utarnachitt. DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. "Abominations" will debut on November 3.
This week's episode of "Legends of Tomorrow" will see the team travel back to Feudal Japan, and it will -- as revealed in the promo -- feature Nick Zano's big transformation into Citizen Steel. You can see photos of that episode right here.
