One of DC's most popular super teams is the Suicide Squad. Rather than a group of heroes voluntarily teaming up, the Suicide Squad is a group of supervillains assembled and forced to fight superhuman threats by the government. Headed by the infamously morally grey Amanda Waller, the Suicide Squad will do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Since David Ayer's Suicide Squad film released in 2016, this super team has become much more popular among mainstream audiences. With James Gunn's sequel on the way, it's time to take a look at some of the most despicable members of the squad, and the worst things they have ever done. Here are the top ten worst things members of the Suicide Squad have ever done.

10 10. Amanda Waller - Bomb Implants

Amanda Waller will do anything to protect her country. Anything, to the point where audiences are sometimes left unsure as to whether she has done more harm or good. One such example of this is Amanda's founding of the Suicide Squad. Although they are a team meant to do good, she is basically setting loose a group of highly trained killers and psychopaths.

The only thing worse than Waller assembling this team of miscreants is how she goes about coercing them into action. Each member of the Suicide Squad is fitted with a bomb implant in their heads. If any member of the team should step out of line, Amanda hits a switch that blows their brains out.

9 9. James Gordon Jr. - Turning Children Into Psychopaths

James Gordon Jr. is the son of one of Batman's most trusted allies. Suffice it to say that the apple has fallen far from the tree. Born with psychopathic tendencies, James had been a killer all of his life. Even at a very young age, James had murdered a friend of Barbara while the girl was out on a camping trip. As he got older, James Gordon Jr. set his psychopathic sites on much higher goals, hoping to cause great amounts of evil within Gotham City.

During a time when Dick Grayson was serving as Batman, James hatched a despicable scheme to create a city full of young psychopaths. Messing with his medication, the homicidal maniac actually finds a way to reverse the formula, causing the drug to increase homicidal tendencies rather than decrease them. Then, using this drug, James poisons an infant nutritional facility, possible creating a new generation of serial killers.

8 8. Rick Flag - Gets His Team Killed

Rick Flag Suicide Squad

Rick Flag is usually the straight man on the team. Unlike other members of the Suicide Squad, Flag is a dedicated soldier with no serious criminal history. Amanda Waller chose him to lead the team, and he serves as a sort of wrangler for the group. While Flag is a dedicated soldier, his time on the squad slowly chipped away at his mental state, causing him to make increasingly dangerous mistakes.

The biggest mistake of all of them happened during a crossover story between the Suicide Squad and the Doom Patrol. When the superhero Hawk was caught by gun smugglers in Nicaragua, Flag was sent with his Suicide Squad team and the Doom Patrol to rescue him. Due to his poor leadership, every single member of his team was killed, except for Flag.

7 7. Killer Frost - Went On A Manhatten Killing Spree

Killer Frost's powers are murderous in nature, as she needs to absorb the heat (often times of other people) in order to stay alive. By absorbing energy from the superhero Firestorm, Frost is often able to temporarily cure herself. Because of this fact, Killer Frost often tries to lure the hero to her.

On one such occasion, Frost teamed up with Mister Freeze and went on a rampage in Manhatten. Hoping to draw the attention of Firestorm, she murdered several innocent people. In the end, she failed to find a cure yet again, all along the way destroying the lives of several people.

6 6. Bronze Tiger - Joining The League of Assassins

Bronze Tiger

An extremely skilled killer, Bronze Tiger has been a member of several different iterations of the Suicide Squad. A skilled fighter in peak physical condition, the Bronze Tiger is a master of various martial arts.

Over the course of his career, this villain has done many horrible things. Perhaps the worst of them is joining the League of Assassins. A cult of killers with no sense of true justice or due process, the League of Assassins travels the globe murdering people at every turn. Joining such an organization and partaking in their practices is a horrible decision.

5 5. King Shark - Eating People

King Shark on The Flash

Before being caught by the brave police officer Samuel Makoa, King Shark had been responsible for several missing person cases surrounding the islands of Hawaii.

As one might expect, the mutated freak had been capturing and then eating his victims. On another occasion, after being forced to join the Suicide Squad, King Shark ate one of his teammates, Yo-Yo. Such cannibalistic tendencies are utterly deplorable.

4 4. Killer Croc - Also Eating People

In most interpretations, Waylon Jones was born with a rare genetic condition that gave him his strange, crocodile-like appearance. After a lifetime of being an outcast, Jones decided to fully embrace the persona people had given him, taking on the name Killer Croc.

For most of his history, Croc actually did not eat people. Then, after being infected with a virus by the Batman villain Hush, Jones began to become much more animalistic. He even was driven to the point of eating people.

3 3. Captain Boomerang - Ate His Son

Captian Boomerang may be the most seemingly innocent of all the Suicide Squad. A bank robber with a silly theme, it's sometimes hard to take Captain Boomerang seriously.

Nevertheless, this supervillain has committed some horrible deeds in his time. After being brought back to life by the Black Lanterns, Digger Harkness needed to feed. His son Owen, the second Captain Boomerang, proceeded to bring the original innocent people, including children, to feed on. In the end, he even ate Owen.

2 2. Deadshot - Killed His Brother, Crippled Both His Parents

Deadshot in a gunfight

Growing up with his brother, Deadshot had a horrible upbringing. His parents hated each other, and when his mother claimed that her husband was beating her, the two sons decided to murder their father.

Deadshot's brother attempted to kill the father but accidentally crippled him instead. Hoping to finish the job, Deadshot also gave off a shot. He missed, instead of murdering his own brother. In later years, Deadshot would return and shoot his mother in the spine, telling her that now she matches her husband.

1 1. Harley Quinn - Harming Children

Due to her growing mainstream popularity, fans are quick to forget that Harley Quinn is one of the most morally reprehensible villains there is. She is in love with the Joker who is perhaps the evilest character in DC Comics.

Even worse than that, Harley once gave out free video games to children that were hooked up to explosives. She later set the explosives off, ending countless innocent children.
