With Batman and the Teen Titans in his rear view, Damian Wayne strikes out on his own in DC Comics' new ongoing Robin series. An official preview for issue #1 sees the Boy Wonder enter the League of Lazarus' deadly fighting tournament.

Robin #1 launches on Tuesday, April 27 from writer Joshua Williamson and artist Gleb Melnikov. "Being a big fan of Damian Wayne, I'm really excited about getting him back on a hero's journey," said Williamson. "Gleb is the perfect artist to tell this story as we show readers Damian's growth, in a new adventure that navigates his legacy, his connections to Batman, Talia Al Ghul and kicks off an important story in the DC Universe."

In addition to putting Damian in the spotlight, Williamson and Melnikov's Robin features a supporting cast that includes established characters like Rose Wilson and a returning Connor Hawke, as well as brand-new faces like Flatline and ReSpawn. Issue #1 features a main cover by Melnikov, a wraparound variant by Melnikov, a card stock variant by Andy Kubert and a 1:25 variant by Riccardo Federici.
