DC Releases Risso's "100 Bullets: Brother Lono" #1 Variant

Next week, Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso's "100 Bullets" returns to Vertigo Comics for a special 8-issue miniseries, "100 Bullets: Brother Lono." While Dave Johnson will take on all the standard covers for the series, DC Comics has released Eduardo Risso's variant cover for "100 Bullets: Brother Lono" #1, giving a first look at the artist's return to the series.

Running for 100 issues, Azzarello and Risso's "100 Bullets" ran for nearly a decade under DC's Vertigo imprint. The new miniseries focuses on Lono after Dizzy Cordova shot him in "100 Bullets," as Lono finds himself in Mexico working for good. The first issue debuts June 19.
