DC Comics has announced an anthology comic that will put its LGBTQIA+ characters in the spotlight. Titled DC Pride, the comic will span 80 pages and is set to launch on June 8.In addition, nine Pride-themed variant covers for some of DC's major characters will be appearing throughout June, featuring the work of artists Kris Anka, Jen Bartel, Stephen Byrne, Paulina Ganucheau, Travis G. Moore, David Talaski, Kevin Wada and Yoshi Yoshitani. Dreamer will be appearing in comics for the first time, with Maines writing her story.Marc Andreyko will write the forward to DC Pride, which will also include pin-ups by Kris Anka, Sophie Campbell, Mildred Louis, Travis Moore, Nick Robles and Kevin Wada. June will also bring Crush & Lobo, a miniseries spinning off from Teen Titans Academy, written by Mariko Tamaki with art by Amancay Nahuelpan, and Poison Ivy: Thorns by Kody Keplinger and Sara Kipin. Both are scheduled for June 1. In April, Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo'sSuicide Squad: Bad Bloodwill be released, and Mariko Tamaki and Yoshi Yoshitani’s YA graphic novel, I Am Not Starfire, is coming on July 27.
