DC Gets Post-Apocalyptic With Nuclear Winter Special

DC Comics is preparing for Christmas Day in an atomic garden with the announcement of November's DC Nuclear Winter Special #1.

This 80-page, prestige format anthology special promises to "end the year with a bang," with ten post-apocalyptic, holiday-themed stories featuring an all-star cast of DC characters. Also, the book is being put together by an ensemble of DC's most notable writers and artists, including the likes of Paul Dini, Cully Hamner, Steve Orlando and many more.

"What can we say? It’s been a crazy year," reads DC's official press release for the comic (alongside a whole host of radiation-related puns). "So why not finish it off with some 'fa-la-la-la-las' in the fallout shelter and a copy of this year’s holiday anthology special?"
