Two months after Cartoon Network abruptly pulled new episodes of Young Justice: Invasion and Green Lantern: The Animated Series from its schedule, the cable channel has confirmed the Jan. 5 return of its DC Nation programming block. The announcement is brief, and doesn't provide explanation of why the new season was halted just two weeks after its debut.
The episodes of Green Lantern and Young Justice are those originally scheduled to air Oct. 13:
Green Lantern: The Animated Series

DC Nation debuted on Cartoon Network in March, anchored by Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice, and features well-received animated shorts starring Batman, Teen Titans, Animal Man, Amethyst, Plastic Man and other DC Comics characters. Full-length series Beware the Batman and Teen Titans Go! will join the lineup next year.
