Welcome to the second round of the 11th Annual CSBG DC/Marvel Character Tournament!
This time around, you will be voting for your favorite DC or Marvel superhero cartoon series. The selection committee this year (with one small exception) is the IMDB user reviews (subject to a minimum amount of votes cast, so the ultra-new DC Super Hero Girls cartoon wasn't eligible just yet). I let the IMDB.com user reviews deliver the seeding for #1-64, with the major exception being Teen Titans Go. The IMDB.com user reviews haaaaaaaaaaate that show for whatever reason, but since I am not about to have a show that was popular enough to gets its own hit movie seeded as a #16 seed in the first round, I split the baby there a little and gave Teen Titans Go a #5 seed. Otherwise, these are all ranked by user reviews. I figured that that might lead to some upsets based on the user reviews not reflecting what CBR readers believe.
After the shows were all ranked, they were split into four different regions. In the early rounds, we'll do two regions a day.
First up, here are the results of the voting for the third region of the first round, the Gotham City Region, along with the match-ups for round two!
Out of 2,162 votes, Thing's ring didn't do its thing against Batman: The Animated Series, 98% to 2%.
Out of 2,055 votes, the Super Friends deep-sixed Big Hero 6, 73% to 27%.
Out of 1,999 votes, The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure edged out Fantastic Four, 51% to 49%.
Out of 2,047 votes, Captain America's mighty shield lost to Teen Titans, 85% to 15%.
Out of 2,038 votes, Beware the Batman knocked out Spider-Man, 54% to 46%.
Out of 2,048 votes, Green Lantern: The Animated Series zapped Marvel's Spider-Man, 70% to 30%.
Out of 2,003 votes, Spider-Man does whatever a spider can, which means defeating Zeta Project, 69% to 31%.
Out of 2,040 votes, Spider-Man the Animated Series smashed Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., 92% to 8%.
GOTHAM CITY REGION

Here are the results of the voting for the second region of the first round, the Watchtower Region, along with the match-ups for round two!
Out of 2,074 votes, Justice League crushed Adventures of Superboy, 99% to 1%.
Out of 2,021 votes, Static Shock zapped Silver Surfer, 72% to 28%.
Out of 2,003 votes, the Teen Titans Go cut out the Wild Cats, 63% to 37%.
Out of 2,007 votes, Wolverine and the X-Men made scrap metal out of Iron Man: Armored Adventures, 85% to 15%.
Out of 1,962 votes, Adventures of Batman crushed the Fantastic Four, 56% to 44%.
Out of 2,034 votes, Superman: Animated Series smooshed The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show, 93% to 7%.
Out of 2,005 votes, the Wonder Twins formed the shape of...losers as the All-New Super Friends Hour lost to The Batman, 71% to 29%.
Out of 2,027 votes, the New Batman Animated Series crushed Spider-Woman, 89% to 11%.
