The roster of the DC Legends mobile RPG game is getting ready to add two new characters in June, both of whom are from the New Gods mythos, and DC wants the fans to guess who they could be.A tweet from DC Legends shows two very familiar silhouettes -- one green, one red -- in the accompanying picture, while the tweet itself asks fans if they can guess who the new heroes are.
Naturally, fans were able to deduce that the two new characters were none other than Mister Miracle and Big Barda.
Created by Jack Kirby in 1971 as part of Kirby's Fourth World saga, Mister Miracle -- real name Scott Free -- is the son of Highfather, ruler of New Genesis, and adoptive son of Darkseid, the ruler of Apokolips. In addition to possessing the naturally superhuman physical attributes and immortality of the New Gods, Mister Miracle is also a master escape artist and a brilliant inventor.
Big Barda, Mister Miracle's wife, is the former leader of Darkseid's all-female strike force, the Female Furies, having defected to Earth to be with Scott. Barda is fiercely protective of her husband and not afraid to assert her authority, and both characters have served as members of the Justice League in the past.
With these two characters on anyone's side, players can rest assured their victory in the battlefield may be miraculous. Plus, whatever gets Scott out of mowing the lawn can't be too bad.
