Among the many DC projects that fans are anxiously waiting for, the DC League of Super-Pets movie does not really rank high. In fact, it feels less like a serious project and a bit more like a kid's joke. However, with every new fact that one learns about it, this cheerful movie seems closer to becoming an all-time favorite for audiences of all ages.

10 The Movie Will Be Released In May 2022
Although Jared Stern was hired to write and direct the movie in 2018, there was no news about the movie until May 2021, when the cast was announced. In June, the first teaser was released, but it was not until later in the year that fans got a bit more.
As a part of the 2021 DC Fandome event, the trailer for the DC League of Super-Pets movie was released in October 2021. In this same event, it was announced that the movie will premiere in May 2022.
9 It Is Directed And Co-Written By Jared Stern
DC League of Super-Pets will be directed by Jared Stern, an American screenwriter better known for his work as the writer of The Lego Batman Movie and The Lego Ninjago Movie, and for creating the series animated series Green Eggs and Ham, a TV show based on the Dr. Seuss book.
The DC League of Super-Pets movie is not the first film directed by Stern, but it is his first animated movie. However, as his career shows, he is an expert in animation, especially when it is an adaptation from other media.
8 It Is Based On The Legion Of Super-Pets
The movie is undoubtedly inspired by the Legion of Super-Pets, a superhero team created in 1962 by Jerry Siegel and Curt Swan. This group featured several animals, which served as animal sidekicks for other human superheroes, such as Krypto with Superman, and Comet the Super-Horse with Supergirl.
The Legion of Super-Pets was created by the Legion of Super-Heroes after finding out that the Brain-Globes could not control animal minds. Although the Super-Pets disappeared from the DC continuity in 1986, the group returned with new members in 2017 in Super Sons Annual #1.
7 The Music For The Movie Was Made By Steve Jablonsky
It has been announced that the original soundtrack for the movie will be composed by Steve Jablonsky. Jablonsky has composed the soundtrack for dozens of films, including the Transformers franchise, Ender's Game, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

6 Superman Will Be Saved, Not The Savior
Although fans are used to seeing Superman as the hero of every movie he is in, DC League of Super-Pets shows a new side of the Man of Steel. First, because he is not the main character, but the owner of one of the pets. Second, because he won't be rescuing anyone. Instead, he will be rescued.
The DC League of Super-Pets movie follows the story of Krypto the Superdog, who forms a team of super-powered pets after the Justice League is captured by Lex Luthor. 4 Kevin Hart Will Voice Ace The Bat-Hound
In June 2021 it was announced that Kevin Hart would be voicing Ace, a street hound who soon becomes Krypto's second in command. Although the trailer shows them to be radically different, their friendship feels inevitable.
Even though it has not been announced, the DC history shows that Ace will become Batman's sidekick, Ace The Bat-Hound. This means Krypto and Ace's friendship will be just like Bruce and Clark's. Now, given the nature of Hart's career, it is very probable that these dogs' dynamic will be filled with humorous moments, and surely, Ace will be one of the funniest characters of the movie.
3 It Features Many Other Talented Actors
Besides Hart and Johnson, DC League of Super-Pets will feature several renowned actors from Hollywood, such as John Krasinski as Superman, Marc Maron as Lex Luthor, Natasha Lyonne as Merton the turtle, and Diego Luna as Chip the squirrel.
Other additional voices will be provided by famous actors like Vanessa Bayer, Kate McKinnon, Jameela Jamil, Keanu Reeves, and Ben Schwartz. While the trailer has already shown that the movie will be filled with endearing characters, its cast also shows it will be truly fun to watch.
2 The Whole Justice League Will Be Depicted
Although the Super-Pets are the main characters of the movie, there will be other DC characters on it. For example, the whole Justice League, which will include Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern, not as Hal Jordan, but as Jessica Cruz.

This has been confirmed by its creators and also, it is a logical conclusion that derives from the fact that it is being produced by the same conglomerate, Warner Bros. Pictures. Anything is possible in the multiverse, so maybe the movie will even include some references to other DCEU films.
