DC has partnered with Tokyo-based publishing company Kodansha. As part of this collaboration, two new manga titles -- starring Batman and The Joker, respectively -- will launch in Kodansha's Morning magazine.As announced on DC's official Japanese Twitter account, the first manga -- titled Batman Justice Buster -- comes from the team of Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi and will launch in Morning's merged fourth and fifth issue on Dec. 24. Meanwhile, the second manga -- Wanope Joker (Joker: The One-Man Operation) -- comes from Satoshi Miyakawa and Keisuke Gotō, and is set to launch in Morning's sixth issue on Jan. 7, 2021. Kodansha will also release the manga on its Comic Days website.RELATED: Rooster Teeth Celebrates Batman, the Joker With New ACHIEVE Streetwear

Of course, this is not the Dark Knight's first foray into the world of manga. In 2018, Monthly Hero's magazine launched a manga adaptation of DC's original anime film Batman Ninja by Masato Hisa. Hisa's Batman Ninja manga ran until September 2019 and won a Seiun Award for Best Comic this past August.

Batman Justice Buster launches in Morning magazine on Dec. 24, followed by Wanope Joker on Jan. 7, 2021.
