New animated promos for DCeased kill Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman.Posted to the Twitters for each of the three characters, the short animations transform these Justice League members from their usual appearances into their DCeased versions. "There’s a monster inside all of us," reads the Batman tweet, which features a closeup of Batman that blends into his DCeased version with a sinister smile.
The Dark Knight is also featured in the Wonder Woman promotion, which bears the text of, "Death is forever. That is the only truth."Â The animation begins with a close-up of the Amazonian princess that zooms out as she blends into her DCeased version, showing Batman wrapped in her lasso of truth.
Captioned with "Death is faster than a speeding bullet," the Superman tweet begins with a powerful image of the Man of Steel. His face begins to transform into the DCeased version as it catches fire. To complete the animation, his body and costume also blend into the version featured in DCeased.
All three of these promotional tweets link to the DC Comics listing for the DCeased Collected Edition, which features all six issues of the series and the DCeased: A Good Day to Die #1 one-shot.
The events of DCeased were instigated by Darkseid, whose Anti-Life Equation has resulted in a techno-organic virus spreading rapidly across Earth, taking down some of the publisher's biggest heroes and villains.
The DCeased Collected Edition releases Nov. 26.
