DC is slowly in the midst of unveiling its plans for the post-Future State DC Universe. The publisher recently announced the new creative team for Superman and Action Comics, which -- notably -- are two of the titles Bendis has called home since transplanting from Marvel to DC.

In March 2021, Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Phil Hester and Eric Gapstur will team up for "The Golden Age," which spans Superman #29 and Action Comics #1029. Both issues will feature "Tales of Metroplis" backup stories, with Sean Lewis and Sami Basri handling Superman and Becky Cloonan, Michael W. Conrad and Michael Avon Oeming handing Action Comics. After "The Golden Age," Johnson will pen both Superman and Action Comics, with art by Scott Godlewski on the former and Daniel Sampere on the latter. DC also teased a secret Superman project in the works from Johnson and Mikel Janín.
